Gurkan Kiran, Eray Metin Guler, Abdurrahim Kocyigit, Ayse Filiz Gokmen Karasu, Norda Uckardes Katarmiyan, Fatma Basak Tanoglu. Correction: The cytotoxic, genotoxic and apoptotic effects of an adsorbent and anti oxidative vaginal gel on human cervical cancer cell (HeLa) lines. European Journal of Gynaecological Oncology. 2026; 47(3): 143-143. doi: 10.22514/ejgo.2026.045
In the article [1] “The cytotoxic, genotoxic and apoptotic effects of an adsorbent and anti-oxidative vaginal gel on human cervical cancer cell (HeLa) lines” (Eur J Gynaecol Oncol, 2024; 45(4): 65–70), an error appeared in Section 2.2, first sentence.
The original sentence read:
“The cytotoxic activity of melatonin on cells was examined by measuring ATP (Adenosine triphosphate) levels using a luminescence test (Cell-Titer-Glo Luminescent Cell Viability Assay, Promega).”
The sentence should correctly read as follows:
“The cytotoxic activity of DeflaGyn® vaginal gel on cells was examined by measuring ATP levels using a luminescence assay (Cell-Titer-Glo Luminescent Cell Viability Assay, Promega).”
This is a textual error limited to the first sentence of the Materials and Methods section. The experimental procedures, study design, data analyses, results, and conclusions of the study remain unchanged and are not affected by this correction.
